sip.tea is proudly NZ family owned and operated. We’re not owned
by a faceless big corporate whereby all profits go overseas. Being
family owned means all our profits stay in NZ and are subsequently
reinvested back into the local economy.
We’re proud to supply this premium brand of tea across NZ within
large corporates, hospitality venues and of course home users who
are passionate a great cuppa.
sip.tea was founded in October 2021 with a commitment to bringing
great tasting, quality organic certified tea (where possible) to the NZ
market at mainstream prices. We constantly strive to provide a
positive impact on the lives of people who grow, produce and
manufacture the products we use and enjoy every day.
Our tea partners in Sri Lanka lead the nations’ tea export business
and were the first to establish internationally certified organic tea
gardens in 1987, today producing over 200 tons of organic tea each
year. Safe to say they know tea ... very well.
In today’s world it’s increasingly important to be providing an
organic product where possible. Our teas are free from all the
nasties present in so many mainstream brands of tea still being
consumed and an emphasis is placed on sustainable manufacturing
methods. That’s got to make our tea taste even sweeter right. sip.tea
